The Club strives to provide players with quality coaching and a healthy, competitive soccer environment. We welcome new players and encourage young people interested in soccer to give it a try.
The SVE Soccer Club attempts to provide soccer programs and/or teams for boys and girls, ages 5-19. We emphasize participation and player development, and we purposely try to place our teams in divisions that will challenge them, where they will have to work hard and improve to win games. Our goal is to prepare young soccer players for success at the varsity level in high school. We like winning championships along the way, but that is not our primary goal. For players to improve, they must get playing time. As a club, we commit to playing every player and will try to play everyone at least 30% of each game.
We believe that our player-centered philosophy of coaching - these are kids and playing should be fun, has brought good results. We are proud that our SVE High School Varsity Boys Soccer Team has consistently won IAC division titles for many years and won the Class C State Championship in 2001.
